Welcome to ShieldScan. These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the ShieldScan mobile application and related services (collectively, the "Service") provided by ShieldScan ("we," "us," or "our").

By accessing or using ShieldScan, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, you may not access or use the Service. We recommend that you save or print a copy of these Terms for your records.

ShieldScan is a mobile application that provides cryptocurrency token risk analysis and informational tools. The Service includes features such as:

• Token security analysis and risk scoring
• Market data and token information
• Watchlists and portfolio tracking
• Price alerts and notifications
• Scan history and saved searches
• Account features for syncing data across devices
• Optional premium features and subscriptions

Important: ShieldScan is an informational and analytical tool only. ShieldScan is NOT a cryptocurrency wallet, broker, exchange, or trading platform. ShieldScan does NOT execute trades, hold funds, or facilitate any financial transactions on your behalf. ShieldScan does NOT provide financial, investment, legal, or tax advice.

You must be at least 18 years old to use ShieldScan. By using the Service, you represent and warrant that you are at least 18 years of age and have the legal capacity to enter into these Terms. If you are using the Service on behalf of an organization, you represent and warrant that you have the authority to bind that organization to these Terms.

The Service may not be available in all jurisdictions. You are responsible for ensuring that your use of ShieldScan complies with all applicable laws and regulations in your jurisdiction.

Some features of ShieldScan require you to create an account. When you create an account, you agree to:

• Provide accurate, current, and complete information
• Maintain and promptly update your account information
• Maintain the security of your account credentials
• Accept responsibility for all activities that occur under your account
• Immediately notify us of any unauthorized use of your account

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account if any information provided is inaccurate, incomplete, or fraudulent, or if you violate these Terms.

You agree to use ShieldScan only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms. You are solely responsible for your conduct and any data, text, or other content that you submit, post, or display while using the Service.

• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service, other accounts, or any related systems or networks
• Interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of the Service
• Attempt to reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble any portion of the Service
• Use automated systems (bots, scrapers, etc.) to access the Service without our express permission
• Transmit any viruses, malware, or other malicious code
• Impersonate any person or entity or misrepresent your affiliation
• Use the Service to harass, abuse, or harm others
• Resell, redistribute, or sublicense the Service without our authorization
• Use the Service in any manner that could damage, disable, or impair its functionality

ShieldScan does not provide financial, investment, legal, or tax advice. All information, analysis, scores, and data presented through the Service are for informational purposes only and should not be construed as financial advice or a recommendation to buy, sell, or hold any cryptocurrency or token.

Cryptocurrency investments are highly volatile and carry significant risk, including the risk of total loss. Risk scores and security analyses provided by ShieldScan are based on available data and algorithms, which have inherent limitations. A low-risk score does not guarantee safety, and a high-risk score does not guarantee that a token is a scam.

You are solely responsible for your own investment decisions. Before making any financial decisions, you should conduct your own research and consult with qualified financial, legal, and tax professionals. By using ShieldScan, you acknowledge that you understand these risks and agree that ShieldScan is not liable for any losses you may incur.

ShieldScan aggregates and displays data from various third-party sources, including blockchain networks, market data providers, and security analysis services. We do not control, verify, or guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or timeliness of third-party data.

The Service may contain links to third-party websites, applications, or services that are not owned or controlled by us. We have no control over, and assume no responsibility for, the content, privacy policies, or practices of any third-party services. Your use of third-party services is at your own risk and subject to their respective terms and policies.

ShieldScan may offer premium features or subscription plans that provide additional functionality beyond the free tier. If you choose to subscribe to a premium plan:

• Subscription fees, billing periods, and payment terms will be disclosed before you complete your purchase
• Subscriptions are processed through the platform's payment system (such as the App Store or Google Play)
• Subscriptions may automatically renew unless you cancel before the end of the current billing period
• You can manage and cancel your subscription through your device's app store settings
• Refunds are subject to the policies of the respective app store

We reserve the right to modify subscription pricing and features. Any changes to your subscription will be communicated in advance, and you will have the opportunity to cancel before the changes take effect.

The Service and its original content, features, and functionality are owned by ShieldScan and are protected by international copyright, trademark, patent, and other intellectual property laws. Our trademarks and trade dress may not be used in connection with any product or service without our prior written consent.

You retain ownership of any content you create within the app (such as watchlists and notes). By using the Service, you grant us a limited license to store, process, and display your content solely for the purpose of providing the Service to you.

We strive to provide reliable access to ShieldScan, but we do not guarantee that the Service will be available at all times. The Service may be temporarily unavailable due to maintenance, updates, technical issues, or circumstances beyond our control.

We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Service at any time, with or without notice. We will not be liable to you or any third party for any modification, suspension, or discontinuation of the Service.

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, NON-INFRINGEMENT, AND ANY WARRANTIES ARISING OUT OF COURSE OF DEALING OR USAGE OF TRADE.

WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, SECURE, OR ERROR-FREE, THAT DEFECTS WILL BE CORRECTED, OR THAT THE SERVICE OR THE SERVERS THAT MAKE IT AVAILABLE ARE FREE OF VIRUSES OR OTHER HARMFUL COMPONENTS.

WE MAKE NO WARRANTIES OR REPRESENTATIONS ABOUT THE ACCURACY, RELIABILITY, COMPLETENESS, OR TIMELINESS OF ANY DATA, ANALYSIS, OR CONTENT PROVIDED THROUGH THE SERVICE.

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, IN NO EVENT SHALL SHIELDSCAN, ITS AFFILIATES, DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, OR AGENTS BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING WITHOUT LIMITATION LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, USE, OR GOODWILL, ARISING OUT OF OR IN CONNECTION WITH YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE.

IN NO EVENT SHALL OUR TOTAL LIABILITY TO YOU FOR ALL CLAIMS ARISING OUT OF OR RELATING TO THE SERVICE EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US, IF ANY, IN THE TWELVE (12) MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM.

SOME JURISDICTIONS DO NOT ALLOW THE EXCLUSION OR LIMITATION OF CERTAIN WARRANTIES OR LIABILITY, SO SOME OF THE ABOVE LIMITATIONS MAY NOT APPLY TO YOU.

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless ShieldScan and its affiliates, officers, directors, employees, and agents from and against any and all claims, damages, losses, liabilities, costs, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising out of or related to your use of the Service, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any rights of another.

We may terminate or suspend your access to the Service immediately, without prior notice or liability, for any reason, including if you breach these Terms. Upon termination, your right to use the Service will immediately cease.

You may terminate your account at any time by contacting us or using the account deletion feature in the app. All provisions of these Terms that by their nature should survive termination shall survive, including ownership provisions, warranty disclaimers, indemnification, and limitations of liability.

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with applicable laws, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes arising from or relating to these Terms or the Service shall be resolved through good-faith negotiation. If a dispute cannot be resolved through negotiation, it shall be submitted to binding arbitration or the courts of competent jurisdiction as determined by applicable law.

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. If we make material changes, we will notify you by posting the updated Terms on this page and updating the "Last updated" date. We may also notify you through the app or via email.

Your continued use of the Service after any changes to these Terms constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms. If you do not agree to the updated Terms, you must stop using the Service.

If any provision of these Terms is held to be invalid or unenforceable, that provision shall be limited or eliminated to the minimum extent necessary, and the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.

These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy and any other agreements expressly incorporated by reference, constitute the entire agreement between you and ShieldScan regarding the Service and supersede all prior agreements and understandings.
