The rules and conditions that apply when you use CodeTutor AI, including AI output, accounts, acceptable use, and Google Play subscriptions.

1. Acceptance of these Terms

These Terms of Service govern your use of CodeTutor AI, operated by MokaIO. By creating an account, purchasing a subscription, or using the app, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy .

2. What CodeTutor AI provides

CodeTutor AI is an educational software tool that helps users analyze programming code, understand errors, review possible corrections, and learn programming concepts through AI-assisted explanations.

The service is an educational aid. AI output may contain mistakes, incomplete explanations, insecure patterns, or code that does not work in your exact environment. You remain responsible for reviewing, testing, and validating any output before using it.

3. Eligibility and accounts

  • You must be at least 13 years old to use the service.
  • If applicable law requires parental or guardian consent, you must have that consent.
  • You must provide accurate account information and keep your credentials secure.
  • You are responsible for activity performed through your account unless caused by our breach or another circumstance for which applicable law makes us responsible.
  • You may use email/password authentication or supported Google sign-in.

4. Acceptable use

You may use CodeTutor for lawful educational and software-development purposes. You must not:

  • Use the service to create, distribute, or improve malware, credential theft, unauthorized intrusion, or other unlawful harmful activity.
  • Attempt to bypass usage limits, subscription checks, authentication, rate limits, or security controls.
  • Probe, disrupt, overload, reverse engineer where prohibited by law, or interfere with the service or other users.
  • Upload material you do not have the right to process or share.
  • Upload secrets such as API keys, passwords, private keys, access tokens, or unnecessary personal/confidential information.
  • Use the service in a way that violates law, intellectual-property rights, privacy rights, or third-party terms.

5. Your code and content

You retain your rights in code and text you submit. You grant us a limited right to process that content only as reasonably necessary to operate, secure, troubleshoot, and provide the requested CodeTutor features, including sending relevant input to our AI processing provider.

You represent that you have the rights and permissions needed to submit the content. We do not claim ownership of your source code merely because you submit it for analysis.

6. AI-generated output

Generated explanations, corrections, examples, and suggestions are probabilistic and may be wrong. They are not a substitute for testing, code review, security review, or professional judgment. Do not rely on CodeTutor as the sole basis for safety-critical, security-critical, medical, legal, financial, industrial-control, or other high-risk decisions.

7. Free and paid plans

The app may offer Free, Pro, Enterprise, or other plans with different analysis limits, code-length limits, history, favorites, export, AI, language, or support features. Current features and prices are shown in the app and/or Google Play before purchase.

We may modify plan features or limits for future use where reasonably necessary. Material changes will not remove mandatory consumer rights.

8. Google Play subscriptions

  • Paid Android subscriptions are processed through Google Play and entitlement state may be synchronized through RevenueCat.
  • Prices, taxes, billing currency, renewal dates, trials, and purchase terms shown by Google Play control the transaction.
  • Subscriptions may renew automatically unless cancelled according to the terms shown at purchase.
  • You can manage or cancel subscriptions through your Google Play account.
  • Deleting, deactivating, or uninstalling CodeTutor does not automatically cancel an active Google Play subscription.
  • Refund requests are subject to Google Play rules and any mandatory rights under applicable law.

9. Service availability and changes

We aim to keep the service available, but internet services, AI providers, authentication providers, app stores, and billing systems may experience downtime or changes outside our control. We may maintain, update, suspend, or discontinue features when reasonably necessary.

10. Account restriction or termination

We may restrict or deactivate access when reasonably necessary to address fraud, abuse, security risks, legal requirements, material violations of these Terms, or threats to the service. Where appropriate and legally required, we will provide notice or an opportunity to resolve the issue.

You may stop using the service at any time and may request permanent deletion as described on our Delete Account page .

11. Intellectual property

The CodeTutor app, branding, interface, original software, documentation, and related service materials are owned by or licensed to MokaIO and are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws. These Terms do not transfer ownership of the app or service to you.

12. Disclaimers

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the service is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. We do not guarantee that every analysis will identify every bug, that every correction will compile or run, or that the service will always be uninterrupted or error-free.

Nothing in these Terms excludes warranties, remedies, or consumer rights that cannot legally be excluded.

13. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, MokaIO will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or exemplary losses arising from use of the service, including loss of data, profits, or business opportunity. Any limitation applies only to the extent permitted by mandatory law.

14. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Algeria, without prejudice to mandatory consumer protections or other non-waivable rights that may apply in your country of residence.

15. Changes and contact

We may update these Terms as the service changes. The effective date at the top will identify the current version. Questions can be sent to fortajroba@gmail.com .
